Tanzperformance Grand Z (Panafrikanische Tänze, Trommel- und Maskenschauspiel)
Sowohl temperamentvolle, traditionelle Tänze als auch spektakuläre moderne Choreographien aus verschiedenen Regionen Afrikas gehören zum Repertoire der Tanz- und Trommelformation Ensemble artistique GRAND-Z. Phantasievolle, farbenprächtige Kostüme, heilige Masken und ein geheimnisvolles Feuerschauspiel machen das Konzert zu einem einmaligen Erlebnis. Eine Besonderheit wird der traditionelle Tanz der Zaouli-Maske sein, der seit 2017 zum immateriellen Kulturerbe der UNESCO gehört.

1. Live-Konzert: Alicia Cibola mit Band
Alicia Cibola ist eine kongolesisch-amerikanische Künstlerin, Sängerin und Songwriterin aus Houston, Texas, die für ihre dynamischen Auftritte und ihre kraftvolle Stimme bekannt ist. Sie verbindet die Leidenschaft des Souls, die Leichtigkeit des Pops und den rauen Drive des Bluesrocks zu einem Sound, der sich mit jeder einzelnen Note ebenso zeitlos wie modern anfühlt. Getragen von purer Funk-Power ist ihre Musik eine „Feel-Good“-Einladung, die Tanzfläche zu stürmen, die man nur schwer ausschlagen kann.

2. Live-Konzert: Bantu Riots & Ruffin Nkoy
Bei diesem Konzert treffen Bantu Roots auf die musikalische Welt von Ruffin Nkoy Loola – zwei unterschiedliche musikalische Perspektiven, verbunden durch die Kraft afrikanischer Musik.
Bantu Roots verbindet die tiefen musikalischen Wurzeln des Bantu-Erbes mit R&B, Jazz und modernen Grooves. Ihre Musik ist kraftvoll, tanzbar und voller Energie – Beats, die bewegen, Melodien, die verbinden und ein Sound, der das Publikum direkt mitnimmt.
Mit Ruffin Nkoy Loola kommt ein Musiker mit jahrzehntelanger Erfahrung und einer tiefen Verbundenheit zur kongolesischen Musiktradition auf die Bühne. Inspiriert von Legenden wie Papa Wemba, Grand Kallé, Tabu Ley Rochereau und Miriam Makeba, bewegt sich sein musikalischer Stil zwischen kongolesischer Rumba, Soukous, Highlife und Reggae.

The dance and drumming ensemble GRAND-Z presents a vibrant repertoire ranging from passionate traditional dances to spectacular contemporary choreographies from different regions of Africa. Imaginative, colorful costumes, sacred masks, and a mysterious fire performance make this an unforgettable experience. A special highlight will be the traditional Zaouli mask dance, which has been part of UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage since 2017.

Alicia Cibola is a Congolese-American artist, singer, and songwriter from Houston, Texas, known for her dynamic performances and powerful voice. Fueled by pure funk energy, her music is a feel-good invitation to hit the dance floor – one that is hard to resist.

This concert brings together Bantu Roots and the musical world of Ruffin Nkoy Loola – two distinct musical perspectives united by the power of African music. Bantu Roots combines the deep musical roots of Bantu heritage with R&B, jazz, and modern grooves. Their music is powerful, danceable, and full of energy – beats that move you, melodies that connect, and a sound that immediately draws the audience in.
Joining them on stage is Ruffin Nkoy Loola, a musician with decades of experience and a deep connection to Congolese musical traditions.
