Wir freuen uns, euch das One People Festival im Kulturzentrum Faust in Hannover vorzustellen, das vom 24. bis zum 25. Juni 2023 stattfindet und ehrenamtlich von BIPOC* geplant und organisiert wurde. Um euch ein buntes Programm von enormer kultureller und künstlerischer Wichtigkeit zu bieten, haben wir unsere Arme in alle Welt ausgebreitet und Künstler*innen und Kulturschaffende aus Eswatini, Gambia, Jamaica, Jordanien, Pakistan, Palästina, Nigeria, Sudan und vielen weiteren Ländern eingeladen. Wir haben dieses Festival geschaffen, um auch lokale Acts aus Hannover in unser Programm einzubinden, so dass auf unseren Bühnen Menschen aus unserer Nachbarschaft zusammen mit ihren internationalen Idolen stehen werden. Die Musik-Acts werden von einem interdisziplinären Rahmenprogramm begleitet: Ihr könnt euch auf Workshops, Ausstellungen, Interventions, eine Jam-Session und viele tolle Info- und Verkaufsstände freuen!
Im Außenbereich der Faust könnt Ihr euch kulinarisch inspirieren lassen sowie Textilkunst und Performance aus verschiedensten Regionen dieser Welt sehen und erleben. Hier werdet Ihr zu einem internationalen Diskurs über Tradition, Geschichte und das Leben der Menschen in ihren Ländern eingeladen. Außerdem könnt Ihr Euch an diversen Info-Ständen aufhalten, Kunstausstellungen anschauen und das Gelände rund um Faust und den Biergarten Gretchen erkunden.
Bestimmte Angebote können aufgrund des begrenzten Platzes nur mit vorher angemeldeten Gruppen stattfinden.

We are pleased to introduce to you the One People Festival at Faust Kulturzentrum in Hannover on June 24th to 25th 2023, which we have planned and organized on a voluntary basis as BIPOC*. In order to bring you a colorful program of tremendous cultural and artistic importance, we have spread our arms all over the world and invited artists and cultural practitioners from Eswatini, Gambia, Jamaica, Jordan, Nigeria, Pakistan, Palastine and Sudan, among others. We created our festival to include Hannover’s local acts in our program, so that people from our neighborhood will be on our stages together with their international idols. The music acts will be accompanied by an interdisciplinary supporting program: You can look forward to workshops, exhibitions, interventions, a JamSession and many great info & sales booths!
In the outdoor area of the Faust you can get culinary inspiration as well as see and experience textile art and performance from different nationalities. Here you will be invited to an international discourse about tradition, history and the life of the people in the diverse countries. If that’s not enough, you can also spend time at various information booths or the art exhibitions and explore the area around Faust and Biergarten Gretchen.
Due to limited space, certain offers can only take place with pre-registered groups.
