Frequently asked questions
Ticket purchase & discounts
You can buy tickets at the Pavillon Infothek (= information desk) and at all ADticket/Reservix ticket agencies. We also sell our tickets online here: https://pavillon-hannover.reservix.de/events.
If not all tickets have been sold in advance, we offer a box office. This usually opens one hour before the start of the event. Please note that the ticket price at the box office (AK) is usually different from the advance booking price (VVK). You can see the prices on our website under “Programme” in the respective event.
All pupils, students, Juleica Card holders, pensioners, FSJ workers, federal volunteers, trainees and people with a disability receive a reduced ticket. You must show proof of your status at the ticket counter when you buy your ticket. Please note that for many events, discounted tickets are only available at the box office (AK). HannoverAktivPass holders even get a 50% discount (see FAQs on the HannoverAktivPass).
Ticket purchasers receive a discount on most Pavillon events. The amount of the discount is calculated based on the ticket price and is therefore variable. This applies to Pavillon events, events organised by other organisers and events with different price categories. For events organised by the theaterwerkstatt, a reduction of 100% is applied; for most other events, a reduction of 50%. You can find out whether a reduction is possible and how much it is by looking at the programme for the event in question. For further questions about reductions for individual events, please contact us at 0511 2355550 or send an email to tickets@pavillon-hannover.de.
HannoverAktivPass tickets can only be purchased from us at the Infothek. On presentation of the ID and the HannoverAktivPass, a reduction will be recognised.
Persons with a severely disabled pass B receive a reduced ticket on presentation of the pass at the Infothek. In addition, they may bring one accompanying person free of charge, who must be registered with us at the Infothek in advance. You can register at our Infothek, by telephone on 0511 235555-0 or via tickets@pavillon-hannover.de.
Vouchers
Yes, you can buy a so-called culture voucher from us. You can get them at the Infothek or online here: https://pavillon-hannover.reservix.de/artikel. The culture voucher is an ideal gift.
A voucher can be redeemed at the Pavillon Cultural Center and when purchasing tickets online for events at the Pavillon Cultural Center. The voucher is valid for three years. The three-year period begins on 1 January of the following year in which the voucher was purchased. Residual values remain on the voucher and cannot be paid out. This rule also applies to vouchers issued for ticket refunds in the wake of the Corona pandemic.
Note: Old vouchers, in postcard format, issued before 2019 have now expired and can no longer be redeemed.
Directions
From a ticket value of €10, tickets for the respective event are usually offered as a combined ticket (ticket for the event + travel pass). This can be recognised by the GVH logo and the information about travel entitlement, which is printed on the ticket. The combined ticket is valid from three hours before the start of the event until 5:00 a.m. the following day in the entire GVH tariff area (zones ABC) in the 2nd carriage class of transport of all GVH network partners. Please note that if you buy more than one ticket, the tickets can only be used as travel passes by the other visitors if the person who bought the ticket is also present on the journey.
The Cultural Center Pavillon does not have a car park for visitors. The Raschplatzunderground car park and the Friesenstr./Lister Tor multi-storey car park are located directly near the main station. From there it is a 100 metres to the Cultural Center Pavillon.
There are plenty of places to park your bike directly at the Pavillon Cultural Center.

Other
Children accompanied by a parent or guardian are very welcome. At classical events, children up to and including 12 years of age can come along free of charge. They must then be registered at the Infothek. A free ticket for children will then be issued there. At designated children’s events, such as the Kinder-Kracher or Ringelreihe series, children need a ticket.
We recommend that children wear hearing protection, especially at concerts. In addition, not all events and their contents are suitable for children, so please inform yourself about the event in advance.
For most evening events, we offer alcoholic and non-alcoholic cold drinks as well as small snacks at the bar in the foyer together with Café Mezzo. Café Mezzo is also located right next to the Pavillon Cultural Centre, where you can get hot and cold food all day long.
